Getting down with Kooii

I went to a gig at The Joynt in Brisbane's West End last night, Local and legendary band Kooii took to the stage. Reggae music makes you smile, as you look around the cramped fairy lit room, people sway and swing to the music, everyone is happy. Probably one of the best gigs Ive been to in a long time, apon arrival I was welcomed with my favorite song 'Beads on a String' it was also my first time to The Joynt and it was free, bonus..
The only trouble was we got pretty drunk and forgot to buy the bands new album, so i'm hoping we can buy online as i really would love to take a piece of the memory of last nights beauty home.. Top dollar boys x

Pull your socks up missy

Even though its 30 degrees or more on a cool day here in Brisbane, I carn't help but get excited of the fact in the next month or two the temperature will drop and I two can start collecting over the knee socks and wear them with my floral dress and ankle boots, and at least pretend that its winter for a little while.
Im thinking I may purchase some stripped ones in keeping with Alice and Wonderland...

This theme is the inspiration for my graphics and ideas for my first photo shoot.
The only thing I need is an Indian head piece, any ideas?????

The time has come

This week I have been crazy busy finalising my artwork for my prints. Next week I will be getting my images fixed onto silkscreen and I will lock myself away in my studio space and be playing with my new prints and colour combo's. Its so close now I can almost touch it.

Step aside Mr Doc Martin there is a new boot in town. I love this new ankle boot trend, It's grungy with a touch of rock, throw it together with a floral dress or an oversize tee and your away. There is a pair by The Cassette society when payday comes with my name on it...
